Discourse and Discourse Analysis Seminar Series
15/02/2017 Elisa Coati
For PGRs in any school interested in discourse and discourse analysis, an interdisciplinary seminar series is running this semester with monthly talks from academics and PGRs.
The seminars address discourse analysis in theory and practice and cover a whole range of research topics. The sessions are informal and offer an opportunity for PGRs to hear about how discourse is used in academic research and ask questions of experienced researchers relating to practical or theoretical issues.
The seminars are also a great opportunity for PGRs to network across different schools. Currently, the seminars are organised and attended by PGRs from SSP, POLIS and LCS but they would be suitable for anybody interested in discourse and discourse analysis. The seminars are organised and publicised via a mailing list. If you would be interested in hearing more or joining the mailing list, please email Jack Newman on firstname.lastname@example.org
